Chapter 13 Hangover Relief Soup
Chapter 13 Hangover Relief Soup
When Sana Minatozaki woke up, her neck was sore.
She had intended to wait for Zheng Daoxun in the lobby to ask about the progress of her passport, but unexpectedly, she fell asleep while waiting.
Perhaps because she hadn't taken melatonin, she had another dream. In her dream, she touched the man's cheek, but she couldn't see him clearly.
Judging from his features, he should have a very handsome oval face, similar to Jung Do-hoon's...
It couldn't be him, could it?
Sana Minatozaki shook her head, her vision gradually clearing, and then she saw the woman in front of her clearly.
"Da-hyun, what's wrong with you...?"
"Unnie, why did you just fall asleep here?" Kim Da-hyun sat down beside her with a worried look, glancing down at the blanket on Minatozaki Sana's lap. "Aren't you afraid of getting cold?"
blanket……
Sana Minatozaki reached out and grabbed the blanket, then paused for a moment, wondering who had covered her with it.
My abdomen still hurts a little. Could it be from the cold? That shouldn't be the case...
She picked up the blanket with the hotel logo printed on it, went to the front desk to return it, and thanked the staff:
"Thank you so much."
"You're welcome. It was a gentleman who instructed me to do so."
Sana Minatozaki frowned slightly and exchanged a puzzled look with Dahyun Kim.
Among the artists on this tour, those who can be considered friends are mostly female idols. The manager, Lee Sang-won, has short hair and looks like a young boy, but the front desk staff can tell that Sang-won unnie is not female.
Besides, Lee Sang-won will definitely wake her up and tell her to go back to her room to sleep, just like Kim Da-hyun.
"Looks like someone's secretly watching over you~" Kim Da-hyun shrugged wryly. "Going out for dinner?"
"Dinner?" Sana Minatozaki repeated, still a little confused. "Oh! Is it already past six? I've been sleeping for so long."
In other words, she spent an entire afternoon touching that man in her dream.
That must be an incredibly close relationship.
It seems that melatonin cannot be stopped, otherwise, given Sana Minatozaki's current sleep quality, her work will definitely be delayed.
Outside the hotel, the Jakarta sky was already a dusky yellow, with the golden twilight and lush tropical vegetation creating a somewhat surreal, otherworldly scene.
Sana Minatozaki gently pinched her cheek, and the slight pain brought her back to her senses.
Kim Da-hyun had originally planned to just grab a quick bite, but seeing how unnie Sana wasn't feeling, she decided to take her to a nearby shopping mall instead.
Have some barbecue, then head to a nearby dessert shop. Sweets always have a way of soothing the soul, especially when you're stuck overseas and everything seems to be on pause.
This time, however, the strawberry and hazelnut ice cream seemed to have lost its magic. Sana Minatozaki just sat there listlessly, slowly savoring it, completely unable to muster any enthusiasm.
These recurring dreams felt like her own experiences, as if she had lived through them all over again, only to wake up with endless exhaustion and a faint sense of regret.
What is there to regret? Could it be that she and that man were destined for a tragic ending in her dreams?
Kim Da-hyun watched her stir the ice cream into a milkshake, wanting to say something caring, but the phone rang at that moment.
It was her manager calling, and Sana Minato's gaze immediately focused on Dahyun's face.
"Dahyun, where are you? Come back and get your passport. There are too many people here, I can't handle it all by myself."
"Passport?!" Kim Da-hyun thought of Jung Do-hoon, the young clerk who had left a deep impression on her. "Okay, I'll be right back."
"Has the passport issue been resolved?" A glimmer of light appeared in Sana Minato's previously listless eyes.
"We got it back, let's go back quickly."
In the taxi, Kim Da-hyun and Minatozaki Sana chatted about Jung Do-hoon: "He looks like a very capable person. I even attended his meeting with his managers last night. He's very organized and methodical—"
"He really came here for work."
"They're really dedicated and responsible..." Kim Da-hyun responded, then sensed a hint of regret in Minatozaki Sana's tone, "Who would travel all the way to Indonesia if it weren't for work?"
"Maybe it's for someone?" Sana Minatozaki knew her opinion was a bit far-fetched, so she lowered her voice and lacked confidence.
"That's a plot that only happens in Korean dramas, right?" Kim Da-hyun shook her head rationally.
But... the first scene where Minatozaki Sana meets Jung Do-hoon is just like a Korean drama.
"After all, he's a diplomat. He became a civil servant at the age of twenty-five, and you know what?"
"What?"
"The news online says that he previously worked in lobbying at the United Nations and did a lot of work to get South Korea elected as a non-permanent member of the Security Council, so he was transferred back and promoted, right?"
Sana Minatosaki vaguely felt that the inexplicable expectation in her heart had suddenly vanished and crashed heavily to the ground.
What is there to regret?
With this in mind, when Sana Minatozaki returned to the hotel, she was surprised to find a huge crowd of people in the lobby.
Artists, agents, backup dancers, makeup artists... there must be over a hundred people scattered around, all crammed into the lobby waiting to have their passports distributed.
A middle-aged man was maintaining order, checking the list while arranging the passports in the center by category.
What about Jeong Do-hoon?
Sana Minatozaki's gaze darted around in the crowd for a long time before finally spotting the man leaning back on the sofa.
That's where she took a nap this afternoon.
Sana Minatozaki's heart skipped a beat for no reason, and she felt a little itchy.
When Lee Sang-won saw Kim Da-hyun arrive, she invited her over to help count the passports. Minatozaki Sana also came along.
"Unnie, do you need my help?"
Lee Sang-won was at a loss for words: "Sana... your passport is still being held."
"Why?" Minatozaki Sana frowned slightly and looked at Jung Do-hoon.
He seemed drunk, but couldn't bear to put down his work, so he sat there making phone calls.
"Sana-xi, don't be too disappointed," Bae Dong-young sighed, turning to look at the still busy Jung Do-hoon. "The clerk has done his best. He just came back from drinking with people from the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the tax bureau, and our embassy. Those people are difficult to deal with. It's already quite an achievement that he was able to get the Korean's passport back."
Lee Sang-won couldn't help but speak up for Jung Do-hoon, saying, "The clerk is thinking of you too. He has already prepared the documents for the passport re-application. I'll take you and the documents to the Japanese Embassy later to apply. It shouldn't take more than a day or two to get your passports back."
in fact……
Sana Minatozaki no longer cared so much about her passport. For some reason, looking at the drunk Jung Do-hoon, she felt a pang of sadness.
Why is he drinking again?
"Yes, unnie, don't worry too much." Kim Da-hyun patted Minatozaki Sana on the shoulder. "This outcome is already the best it can be. After all, he's just a South Korean diplomat."
Of course, Mina knew that Mina had said the same thing at the restaurant that morning.
But... is he really okay after drinking so much?
She must be so worried because she saw Jung Do-hoon drunk and passed out at her doorstep.
Sana Minatozaki tried to convince herself of this, and gradually began to think that this explanation was reasonable.
"Sana-senpai, could you please move aside..."
A voice came from behind her, and Minatozaki Sana subconsciously stepped aside to make way for the person who came.
It's Xueyun, and Nmixx's manager.
Seol-yoon brought a thermal lunchbox to Jung Do-hoon, while Nmixx's manager stopped and remarked to the TWICE members:
"Hey, our Xueyun is so thoughtful. She's the one who reminded me to prepare a backup of the hangover soup for the scribe."
"Then why didn't you go and deliver it?" Sana Minatozaki really wanted to say that, but it would be too rash, so she could only swallow it.
As for the feeling that made her subconsciously want to say those words, it was very complicated, and she couldn't figure it out for a moment.
