Mina put on a sports jacket over her pajamas and went out. She had planned to call Sana Minatozaki after showering and have a good heart-to-heart talk.

She and Jung Do-hoon did nothing beyond a friendship, and she had no intention of planting a thorn between herself and Minatozaki Sana because of it.

The first call went unanswered.

Sana Minatozaki is probably still angry.

About half an hour later, Mina thought that she should have calmed down by now, so she dialed the number again.

The person who answered the phone was Zheng Daoxun.

How did Sana Minatozaki end up in the hospital after only a few hours?

Mina didn't have time to think it through; filled with confusion and worry, she got into a taxi.

When she arrived, Zheng Daoxun had already bought hot porridge and was standing at the hospital entrance waiting for her.

He was wearing a short-sleeved shirt with a cartoon print and black shorts, so he must have been rushing out just like her.

"How's the situation?" Mina wrapped her coat tighter around herself; it was a bit chilly on the street late at night.

"It's a little better."

Zheng Daoxun wanted to say that it was nothing serious, but he couldn't bring himself to say that low blood sugar could be fatal if left untreated.

"This is the hot porridge I bought, and her cell phone." Jung Do-hoon handed the items to Mina, but she didn't take them.

"Why are you giving it to me? Aren't you going in?"

"I want to be alone outside for a while." Jung Do-hoon sighed and took out a pack of cigarettes from his pocket. "Thank you for your help."

"I brought the porridge in, in case she wakes up, I can feed her a few bites. I won't take my phone..."

Mina looked at the ward with a complicated expression, and gently patted his arm: "After she wakes up, she'll probably want to see you. You should at least say a few words to her."

"I understand." Jung Do-hoon put Minatozaki Sana's phone back into his pocket.

"Smoking is not allowed in the hospital."

"I'll go outside to smoke."

Mina watched Jung Do-hoon leave before opening the door and sitting down next to Sana Minatozaki.

This is a private hospital room, and it looks quite high-end in terms of decor and facilities.

Was it someone connected to Jung Do-hoon?

Mina pulled up a chair, sat down on the edge of the bed, placed the hot porridge on the bedside table, and sighed again.

It was just a series of dreams, so why was Minatozaki Sana so obsessed with it?

Did she deliberately get involved to test Jung Do-hoon?

The cost is far too high, and the risk is extremely high.

"Sana, you...!"

"Is Mr. Jung Do-hoon here?" The nurse pushed open the door. "Could he please come to the head nurse's office and fill out this form?"

"He's outside, I'm going to find him." Mina glanced back at the hot porridge on the bedside table. "If she wakes up later, could you please persuade her to eat something?"

She walked all the way to the smoking area downstairs in the inpatient building, and saw his extremely long, lonely shadow under the lights.

A cigarette is stubbed out and thrown away.

Just as he was about to light another one, Mina stepped forward slowly: "Still smoking? If you go in with that stench of smoke, the nurses will scold you again."

"I don't usually smoke." Jung Do-hoon casually tossed away his unlit cigarette. "Is she awake?"

"No, it looks like she won't wake up anytime soon. She didn't sleep a wink last night and is already extremely weak, how could she possibly wake up so quickly? Oh, by the way, the nurse wants you to fill out a form."

"No rush, let me get rid of the smell of smoke on me before going in." Zheng Daoxun sat on the steps next to him, while Mingan squatted down next to him, looking at the moon in the sky together.

"Dohoon-ssi, have you heard Sana talk about the dreams she had?"

"I've heard of it; it sounds quite authentic."

"So, you should have a good talk with Sana about those dreams... Even if it's a misunderstanding, it's best to clear it up as soon as possible."

"But what should I say? Should I try to prove that the dream is just a dream?" Jung Do-hoon's mood was somewhat low.

Mina chuckled and immediately shook her head: "That's true, I tend to get confused when I care. What kind of precognitive dreams are there in this world? If you have to attribute it to some romantic fantasy... I'm more inclined to believe it's a story from another parallel universe."

Jung Do-hoon glanced at Mina out of the corner of his eye with surprise. She was hugging her knees and staring straight at him.

In his previous life, after breaking up with Minatozaki Sana, Jung Do-hoon was treated to a meal by Mina on his behalf before he set off for South America. Mina had said that she was there to see him off on behalf of Minatozaki Sana.

Looking back now, Mina was always on Minatozaki Sana's side. With so many close friends by her side, she wasn't really that lonely.

"Sana is lucky to have you as a friend." Jung Do-hoon stood up. "Let's go inside."

Sana is so lucky to have her as a friend, isn't she?

Mina asked herself a question in her heart, but didn't say anything. She followed Jung Do-hoon inside, and they parted ways temporarily at the door of the ward. Mina pushed open the ward door with her own thoughts on her mind.

Actually...

She was testing Jung Do-hoon's attitude, mainly because she was worried that Minatozaki Sana would continue to be troubled by these unrealistic dreams and encounter danger like tonight again.

But she also had some other thoughts—

Regardless of how the relationship between the three develops in the future—whether they remain friends or go in another direction—shouldn't it have started cleanly and ended decisively? That would be the best solution for everyone.

Now that Sana Minatozaki is clinging to this dream, Mina Mina can't even be a friend of Jung Do-hoon, someone she can chat with for a few minutes.

"Dohoon..."

Sana Minatozaki's heavy eyelids made her gaze vaguely at the unseen figure before her. She couldn't be mistaken; the only person who could carry her down the stairs was Jung Do-hoon.

But once her vision cleared a little, what came into view was Minami with a worried expression.

"What's wrong? You look so reluctant when you see me?" Mina's heart finally settled down when she saw that Sana Minatozaki was awake.

"Where is Zheng Daoxun?"

"Why don't you eat something to fill your stomach first?" Mina picked up the porridge from the bedside table. "You already have a sensitive stomach, and now you're suffering from low blood sugar. Why are you torturing yourself like this?"

"I'm asking you, where is Zheng Daoxun?"

Sana Minatozaki turned her face to the other side.

Minami sighed softly:

"He's filling out forms outside, he's not here right now. He bought this porridge for you too."

Sana Minatozaki's tightly furrowed brows finally relaxed as she took a small sip of the salty porridge.

"Why did you deliberately starve yourself to this extent? Was it to test whether Jung Do-hoon had also undergone some kind of precognitive dream manipulation like you?"

"I didn't..." Minatozaki Sana pursed her lips, letting Mina take out a tissue to wipe the corner of her mouth.

"As an adult, how did you manage to starve yourself to the point of low blood sugar and stomach cramps without any apparent reason?"

Sana Minatozaki was speechless: "But he came into my house."

"Is it possible that you gave him the password over the phone?"

"I……"

She couldn't be sure, but she was almost unconscious, and perhaps out of the instinct to survive, she might have told Zheng Daoxun her house password.

At least, if Jung Do-hoon also said that, then Minatozaki Sana couldn't prove he was lying.

A sense of powerlessness washed over me.

What exactly is she trying to prove?

To prove he's the person from my dreams? To prove he also foresaw their future together? To prove I'm not just stubbornly clinging to things for no reason?

In the end...

She just wanted to prove that she was Jung Do-hoon's only one.

That's it.
